My first big piece of the semester. Myself as the Virgin Mary holding a bottle of wine, and a toilet seat as the halo. Used charcoal, gold leaf, tears, blood, and 3hrs of sleep.
The assignment was to draw a beautiful memory, and even though throwing up in a toilet for three hours after drinking copious amounts of wine might not be beautiful for some, the experience to me was a sort of revelation.
